Executive Director

Motivated by the mission of our Bishop to make disciples, grounded in solid stewardship principles, and dedicated to advancing the mission of our Church in the Diocese of Springfield, the position requires exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with all levels of clergy and laity. Primary responsibilities will be to serve as the Chief Development Officer of the Diocese of Springfield, to lead and manage all aspects of the Catholic Foundation of the Diocese of Springfield, set the strategic direction of all diocesan development efforts, cultivate major relationships, and offer planned giving opportunities.

Staff Accountant

The Diocese of Springfield has a full-time, benefited, Staff Accountant position opening. The Staff Accountant serves as a resource in support of the Diocesan Finance Department; maintains internal control systems, accurate files, reporting systems, and assists with issues involving compliance and efficiency, and records transactions, revenue, and expenses into Intacct, statements, and GL. Monitors and prepares reports for operating and capital budgets.

Case Worker/Manager: Social Services

Under the general direction of the Executive Director for Catholic Charities serve as a Catholic Charities Social Services Case Worker. Interface with clients, staff, Landlords, agency providers, and hotel/motel personnel to assist clients to access needed social services, including emergency assistance services, homeless prevention, emergency shelter, and rehousing/rental assistance to individuals and families.
